It was not for their goodness or greatness but for His glory that he did it, and even Israel's great sins would not lead God to forsake them as a nation or forgo to complete His great purposes for them. LET'S PRAY 🙏 O Lord, You have chosen and called out Your Church from the world for Your own glory. You chastise us when we sin, but You will not forsake us, for You will accomplish Your purposes in us and through us for Your own glory. Even so, Lord, let it be! But he insisted everything involving money be done in a manner above all reproach. He had others travel with him to deliver the gift, even though he was trusted by all. LET'S PRAY 🙏 Lord, let us act in a way that is honest in not only your sight but also in the sight of men. Let us be sure that our dealings are beyond reproach, particularly all dealings with money. Let everything in our churches be done "decently and in order," and let this be the rule in our personal lives as well.
